"Primarily designed for the students, this edition of Heart of Darkness carries, besides the text with helpful annotations, an Introduction, which guides the reader through the conundrum of Conrad's narrative, and a scholarly apparatus. A contextual/intertextual understanding of the text is sought to be faciliated through the presentation of ""intertexts"", many of which are not easily available to the students.
